It could take days, weeks, months or even years before you start experiencing PTSD symptoms. This disorder can prevent you from leading a normal life if not addressed.

Phobia is one of the most fixated of the different types of anxiety. Phobia can come in many different forms. Some of the common phobias have to do with spiders, heights, snakes and many other things. The key thing you need to know about phobias is that they are often exaggerated feelings of fear. Phobias have a real strong effect on people that experience them. Phobias can cause you to avoid activities that you would otherwise enjoy.

Generalized anxiety concludes this list of different types of anxiety. This particular type of anxiety is often believed to be the common diagnoses for when no other cause of anxiety can be found. People with generalized anxiety worry about every aspect of their life to the point where it interferes with their ability to function.
