3 Tips to Boost Self-Esteem and Develop Self-Worth

Your Self-Esteem and Self-Worth, from my perspective, are really based on what beliefs you have about yourself, how much you value yourself and what you feel you have to contribute to humanity. Do you believe you are worthy? Basically, how much do you love yourself?

No one teaches this stuff explicitly in school or at home, at least no one taught me how to love myself and feel worthy and how to work through failures or breakups, so I had to learn it on my own.

The lower your self-esteem and self-worth, the more difficult it is for you to deal with everyday issues in life. Developing self-esteem will help you become more confident in yourself and your decision making.

The great news is that it’s a skill – that means that nearly everyone can LEARN it. it’s not an inherent genetic talent

SO these 3 tips Tips to Boost Self-Esteem and Develop Self-Worth will help you develop that skill and help you feel better.

Heres’ what to do:

1. watch for and listen to negative self talk. Where is that conversation coming from?
What’s the tone of voice?

2. come back to the present – obsessing over past failures rather than seeing them as
stepping stone means you’re stuck in past and , if you haven’t noticed, your body is in the present, so get the lesson from the past and apply it in the present.

3. notice your boundaries – do you often do things you don’t want to do but feel obligated – where is that coming from? What’s causing that behavior?

With awareness, come wisdom, but you have to take action.
